Reviews
It is always such a pleasure to stay here. A rare dedication to style, quality and comfort is evident is every detail.
I only know Hotel Löwen from frequent business trips. The new conference facilities are by far the best in the region: welcoming, efficient, versatile and straightforward. The function rooms are equipped with the latest presentation and conference calling facilities - truly I've never seen anywhere which works better. The snacks and drinks offered during breaks were highly praised for their creativity and healthiness.
The rooms are done in the classic contemporary alpine style - think wood and felt. Sleep quality is high, there is abundant storage and the internet connection is fast. Every room has a beautiful view across the surrounding Alps.
Some weak points may be worth mentioning: the disadvantages of the hotel's sheer size, and the aging wellness facilities.
This is simply a very large, understaffed hotel, so the service is based on an impersonal and industrialized style. The restaurant is so huge that I only found the hot breakfast food area on the second day. All the staff is friendly and reliable, but too overworked to have time to build real rapport.
Then there's the spa area. It's hard to believe this is the same hotel. Loungers are arranged shoulder-to-shoulder along the pool, so it gets loud and crowded at peak times. The gym was is a poor state of repair, with key cardio and weight equipment unusable. The limited opening hours of 7-20 for pool and fitness make them difficult to use before/after a busy day.
So in short, the Löwen is always enjoyable but if a relaxing spa and personal service are important to you, then you might be disappointed.
- Beautiful, elegant and modern hotel.
- Our room was amazing. The balcony was huge. The view to the mountains is really nice; however, there are multiple buildings disturbing the view (a bit)
- Very good food. There is a dresscode in the restaurant (Smart Casual).
- Overall nice ambiente and amenities.
- Wellness is spacious. The saunas are a bit scattered. The jacuzzi is very nice. They also include a family sauna.
- The gym is average. Some of the equipment did not work.
- Parking is available in the basement and they even have several chargin stations, however I find EUR 39.-/flat quite expensive and charged my car elsewhere.
- It can become quite noisy in the relax area of the Spa and when you open the balcony during the weekend.
Wonderful hotel. Super friendly staff, very good gourmet cuisine.
spacious spa with indor&outdoor pools, multiple saunas & lots of massage and treatment options. Rooms are very elegant and stylish.
I can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. the Interior is elegant but not overwhelming.
As everything has its price, this hotel counts to the more expensive locations.
The hotel is very nice and the staff are courteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable but there is no air condition 🤨.
The pools and the spa are great and the hotel views & the location is good.
The breakfast is nice but dinner is a gourmet restaurant that we didn’t like… …
Staff with the famous Austrian friendliness, modern but cosy rooms and excellent dinner and breakfast. Oh, and then there is the outstanding spa area with saunas, gym, and outside ad well as inside pools.
This is a very nice hotel in a nice village too. Staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and has implemented the covid19 measures very well. We were surprised this was not the case in all places that we visited in the area.||||The rooms, …
This might be one of my favourite hotels in Austria. Fantastic half-board offering. The rooms are modern and in great condition and stylishly decorated. The 6-course evening dinner was very enjoyable with attentive service, and we also …
Stunning place with one of the top 5 spas I have seen in the world. Friendly staff. Great rooms. Great atmosphere. We will be back in December 😂 …
